FUNAAB Becomes First GRE Test Venue in Southwest
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, known for blazing the trail in many positive activities within and outside the country, has become the first University in the entire Southwest of Nigeria to have a Test Venue for the highly competitive Graduate Record Examinations (GRE). The University was also accredited to serve as Test Venue for the Nursing and Midwifery Council, United Kingdom (Nursing CBT). According to the Head, International Centre for Professional Development (ICPD), Mr. Lawrence Kazeem, after the maiden test delivered in FUNAAB, stated that candidates can now sit for the Test Preparation Examinations at ICPD-FUNAAB, which are GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, Nursing and Midwifery Council, UK (Nursing CBT) and over 1,000 different examinations via Pearson VUE.
Mr. Kazeem said there would be customised test preparation for the first quarter from January to March in 2022 and it would hold from January 24 – 29, February 7 – 19 and March 21 – 26, 2022, adding that the training would cost N60,000. He added that the University has a record for producing ground-breaking feats, noting that FUNAAB-ICPD has many seasoned prep consultants with years of robust teaching experience in the prep industry. Meanwhile, GRE is a standardised test that is part of admission requirements for many graduate schools in the United States of America (USA), Canada and other countries.
